Asheville Recovery Group (ARG) has been recognized by the Asheville Humane Society as a preferred agency. ARG will participate in the off-site behavior rehabilitation and training program for shelter dogs. Read the notice here.
Nutritional Support
Asheville Recovery Group (ARG), is grateful for the recognition and support of local agencies like Caring for Children and MANNA Food Bank. These agencies make it possible for ARG to provide nutritional meals in the recovery home with no addition costs to our clients.
Feeding America® is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Their network of member food banks are fighting to end hunger. The member food banks support approx 63,000 charitable agencies and 70,000 feeding programs.
CARING for Children, Inc (CFC) opened Our Place, an emergency shelter for children, in July of 1975. Since then CFC has provided needed services to families and children in WNC. In January of 2012, CFC agreed to sponsor Asheville Recovery Group in our efforts to ensure the nutritional health of our clients.
MANNA Food Bank links the food industry with 231 agencies in WNC. MANNA Food Bank collects, warehouses and distributes food to MANNA accredited non profits throughout 16 counties in WNC.
